We’re seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic apprentice to join the team at the Quay. If you are considering a career in customer service, the sports and leisure industry or outdoor adventure industry this could be the perfect training opportunity for you. The apprenticeship will cover all aspects of the business, with a particular focus on customer service and business administration. You will be working across the centre providing reception, customer service and administration support to the team as well as learning how the instruction and services side of the business works. We will provide all training including funding for qualifications that will enhance your sports/leisure or outdoor industry CV – this includes provision of training and assessment for the Climbing Wall Award (the recognised indoor climbing instructor qualification), first aid courses and other training as required.
The centre has expanded in recent months and now includes Clip ‘n Climb Exeter, a growing outdoor climbing section and the large roped section of the Quay Climbing Centre – as well as our event arm which runs the annual Deep Water Solo competition each August.
