Reopening The Quay – Everything You Need To Know…

You’ll notice a some changes and a few new ground rules when you next visit the centre.  They’re designed to help us manage capacity, to help you manage social distancing and to enable us all to practice good hand hygiene.  We want your climbing experience to be a positive one, so please check out the measures we’ve put in place to and the things we are now asking now asking of you.  

Most importantly – don’t forget  to PRE-BOOK YOUR CLIMBING OR BOULDERING SESSION ONLINE  before you visit.  Monthly and annual members, as well as Ten Climb Punch Card holders, can use the subscriber booking function.  All booking options are also available in the Rock Gym Pro App.    

THE MEASURES WE HAVE PUT IN PLACE...

Managed Capacity

We've introduced capacity limits to help keep you safe and enable us to keep all lines open

Pre-Bookable Climbing

To support capacity limits, we've introduced three x 3.5 hour climbing sessions per day.

Sanitising Stations

Are now available at all entrances, exists and around the climbing arena

One-Way Systems

Are in place to help you navigate around the building and maintain social distance

Managed Distancing

We've put in place social distancing reminders to help you keep your distance

Increased Cleaning

For all high contacts surfaces such as door handles and screens and briefing rooms

Protective Screens

We've installed protective screens in the reception and cafe to keep our team safe

Protected Our Team

Our team will be wearing face coverings together with shields and additional PPE for certain duties

THE THINGS WE ARE ASKING OF YOU...

Stay At Home If You Are Unwell

If you, or anyone in your household, displays symptoms of Covid-19

Pre-Book Your Climb Online

You will need to pre-book your climb using our new online booking system

Sanitise Your Hands Frequently

On arrival, before and after every climb, when using the toilets and before you leave the centre

Respect Social Distancing

Follow directional signage and respect the distance between yourself and other climbers

Wear A Face Covering

When moving around the centre, ordering at the cafe, at the reception desk and for all safety briefings. You do not need to wear coverings when climbing or if you are under 11.

Bring Your Own Water

Water fountains will be shut and sadly we can't refil your bottles at the moment

Arrive Ready to Climb

With a padlock for our new lockers if you need to store personal posessions

Be Safe and Have Fun

Please enjoy your climb but choose routes sensibly if you've detrained during lockdown!
